Developer roles in NetLingua

technician

An IT specialist that knows how to write LaTeX macros, knows how to install and use various packages, what are the differences between various technical solutions. These people will help to solve technical problems.

artist

A man who can create graphics and give the artistic touch to our books. The graphics in our books are very important - they are there to help the learning process.

expert

A linguist or teacher, a person that does for living what we try to do here for fun. He/she will make sure, that from scientific point of view we are on good track and approach the problems in correct way.

publisher

People that know how to publish a book. They will think about such things as the size of letters and margins, placing of images, choosing typefaces.

typographer

Some languages need special fonts. For example, there is no satisfactory freely available cuneiform font. These people can create them.

author

A person that actually writes the lessons. Creates the dialogs, compiles vocabulary lists, writes texts and exercises, explains rules of grammar, fixes filed bugs etc.

reviewer

Someone who did not create the book, but takes his/her time to study it, find weak places, provide critical feedback.
